På plats i Apex Mountain! Resan var ju dryg, men gick ändå enligt planerna. Vi har inte så bra tillgång till internet här i bergen så därför har jag inte uppdaterat så mycket. Vi måste åka ner en liten bit till ett litet café här vid backarna för att komma ut i cyberspace. Det är riktigt fint här! Allt är i typisk Amerikansk stil med stora bilar, stora hus, stora träd m.m och jag trivs fint! Gillar naturen skarpt. Det finns rikligt med vildmark och skidåkningen är riktigt härlig!
Vi har en stor ”Lodge” där tjejerna bor och där vi äter och hänger mellan passen. Vi fick inte riktigt plats alla där så vi grabbar bor i en lägenhet lite nedanför. Upplägget är bra! Vi har ju med oss Jenny från ”Alla tiders matlagare” som gör maten åt oss. Och jäklar va duktig hon är! Man ser alltid fram emot nästa måltid.
Kroppen känns rätt ok trots lite jetlag och hög höjd. Har kunnat träna på enligt plan. Har jobbat rätt mycket på att få till skate tekniken. Det börjar närma sig. Det handlar ofta om att söka efter den rätta känslan. Risken är dock att man ligger och kör lite för fort på passen när man letar teknik. Så här inför ett mästerskap är det viktigt att hålla igen på passen så man inte ligger och bränner form.
Imorgon är det vilodag så då blir de förmodligen en tur ner på Starbucks i stan för att inta en superb espresso!
