Dagens aktivitet = RACE!

Idag var de alltså träningsrace som stod på schemat. Det gick i klassisk stil och de var en 4:a varv på en 4 kilometers slinga. Det blev en ganska tung bana med en lång stigning i början. Tanken med ett träningsrace så här innan säsongs start är att verkligen tänka på teknik och fokusera på att hitta rätt känsla i åkningen. Det är väldigt lätt att man stressar för mycket i början och inte klarar av att hålla i farten hela vägen…
För min del kändes det helt OK! Har jobbat mycket med tekniken hela året och de känns och syns att jag tagit ett litet steg i rätt riktning! Det är kul, för klassikt har inte varit min grej riktigt och jag ska väl erkänna att jag inte favoriserat den stilen =) Mycket har jag att tacka våra vallare och särskilt då min vallare Larry som allt som oftast lyckas fixa bra skidor med fäste under. Att åka klassiskt med halvbra fäste och osköna skidor är ju fan inge kul als! =)
